Pay Scale: Pay Band of Rs.37400-67000 with grade pay of Rs.10000/- on regular or deputation basis.
Qualifications and Experience:
Essential:
1. First Class Master’s degree in Soils,Agronomy/Agricultural Physics/Geology/Hydrology/Geography/Forestry/Botany/Environment Management/Remote Sensing/Geoinformatics/Computer Science.
2. Ph.D. in respectiove discipline and working in the Pay Band of Rs.37400-67000 with Grade Pay of Rs.8700/- or above.
Desirable:
1. Degree/Diploma in Remote Sensing and/or GIS for natural resources management.
2. The candidate must have adequate managerial and administrative experience at senior level and should have lead a team of persons with varied experience in a University/Central or State Govt. institutes/Departments or Private Sector.
Age Limit: The maximum age of candidates shall not exceed 55 years as on 01.01.2011.
