Applications are invited for filling up the following posts:-
Dy. Commissioner (Watershed Development)
No. of Posts: 01
Scale of Pay: Rs.12,000-375-16,500 (pre-revised)
Eligibility:
Officers under the Central/State Government/Union Territories/Public Sector Undertakings/Semi-Government/Statutory or Autonomous Organizations/Recognised Research Institutions or Councils/Agricultural Universities.
(a)(i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department;or
(ii) With five years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in the scale of pay of Rs.10000-15200 (pre-revised) or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and
(b) Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience:
Essential:
(i) Master’s degree from a recognised University or equivalent in one of the following subject:
Agriculture, Forestry,Horticulture or Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering from a recognised University or equivalent.
(ii) Ten years experience in a supervisory capacity of planning and implementation of Agriculture/Forestry/Watershed Development / Waterlands Development/Rural Development programmes.
Desirable:
(i) Doctorate degree in the subject concerned from a recognised University or equivalent.
(ii) Experience in preparation of briefs,memoranda for conferences/seminars/meetings,and the like.
Age Limit: The maximum age limit for appointment on deputation shall be not exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of the receipt of applications.
