Classification of Post: General Central Service Group ‘A’,Gazetted Non-Ministerial.
Pay Scale: Rs.14300-400-18300/- (pre-revised)
Age Limit: The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation (ISTC) shall not be exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.
Eligibility Conditions:
Officers under the Central/State Governments or Union Territories or Agriculture Universities or Recognised Research Institutions or Public Sector Undertakings or Semi-Governments or Autonomous or Statutory Organizations possessing the following service,educational qualifications and experience are eligible:-
Service:
(a)(i) holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre/Department;or
(ii) with five years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the scale of pay of Rs.12000-16500/- or equivalent in the parent cadre/Department.
Educational Qualifications and Experience:
(i) Degree in Agriculture and a Post-Graduate Degree in Agriculture with specialization in any branch of Agriculture Sciences from a Recognised University or equivalent.
(ii) 12 years experience in Agriculture Development/Extension/Research in various food and/or cash crops.
