Applications are invited for filling up the following posts:-
Joint Advisor (Minerals)
Scale of Pay: Pay Band-4 of Rs.37400-67000 + 8700 (Grade Pay)
Eligibility:
For Deputation (Including Short-Term Contract):
Officers holding analogous posts on regular basis; or with 5 years regular service in posts in the scale of pay of Rs.12000-375-16500 or equivalent under the Central/State Governments/UT Administrations/Universities/Recognized Research Institutions/Public Undertakings / Autonomous Organizations and possessing the qualifications/experience prescribed for the post.
Age Limit: The maximum age limit for appointment by Deputation shall be not exceeding 56 years as on the closing date for receipt of applications.
Qualification and Experience:
Essential:
(i) Master’s Degree in Geology/Applied Geology or Degree in Mining Engineering/Mineral Engineering/Metallurgical Engineering from a recognized university or equivalent.
(ii) 12 year’s experience in research/development/planning/execution of projects/programmes in the exploitation and utilization of mineral resources covering ferrous,non-ferrous,industrial minerals,coal,lignite,manufacture and processing of metals etc.
Desirable:
(i) Doctorate Degree in Geology/Applied Geology or Masters Degree in Mining Engineering / Mineral Engineering / Metallurgical Engineering or Master’s Degree in Business Administration.
(ii) Experience of techno-economic evaluation of feasibility studies or detailed project reports.
(iii) Familiarity with principles and/or policies of industrial licensing,foreign investment,collaboration,etc.
(iv) Knowledge of problems related to exploitation,conservation technology,environment management and control, trade and infrastructure development as applied to minerals,mineral-based industries and metallurgical industries.
