Eligibility:
(i) An eminent scholar with Ph.D. qualifications(s) in Museology/Indian History/Fine Arts/History of Art/Conservation/Archaeology/Anthropology/Sanskrit/Pali/Persian/Arabic/other subjects related to museums,from a recognised university or equivalent and published work of high quality.
(ii) A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performances indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS) set out by UGC.
Age Limit: Upper age limit is 56 years

Method of Recruitment:
Deputation (including short term contract) for a period not exceeding three years with provision of absorption as per rules,failing which by direct recruitment.
