Joint Advisor (Industrial Economic Management)
Scale of Pay: Pay Band-4 of Rs.37400-67000 + 8700 (Grade Pay)
Eligibility:
Officers holding analogous posts on regular basis or with 5 years regular service in posts in the pre-revised scale of pay of Rs.12000-375-16500 or equivalent under the Central/State Government/UT Administrations/Universities/Recognised Research Institutions/Public Undertakings/Autonomous Organisations and possessing the qualifications/experience prescribed.
Age Limit:
The maximum age limit for appointment by Deputation (including short-term contract) shall be not exceeding 56 years as on the crucial date for determining eligibility.
Qualification and Experience:
Essential:
(i) Master’s Degree in Science/Economics/Commerce/Mathematics/Statistics/Operations Research/Business Administration or Degree in Engineering of a recognised University or equivalent.
(ii) 12 years experience in Industrial Economics/Management covering techno-economic appraisal of large projects,their techno-economic analysis covering demand,supply,pricing growth,etc.,monitering and evaluation of such projects,developing system models for the same.
Desirable:
(i) Doctorate degree in the relevant branch of Industrial Economics or Master’s Degree in Engineering.
(ii) Experience of conducting/organizing/guiding research and preparation of research papers on detailed projects reports.
(iii) Experience of techno-economic studies or detailed projects reports.
