SPECIAL RECRUITEMENT DRIVE FOR BACK LOG VACANCIES FOR SC/ST
Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, Roorkee invites the applications on the prescribed form for the following posts:

• Junior Lab Assistant (Boiler), 01 Post (SC),
• PB-1 (Rs.5200-20200) Grade Pay Rs. 2000.00
• Qualification & Experience: 
• B.Sc. (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics)/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering of 03 years duration 
• Atleast ‘B’ class certificate of Boiler Attendant from the Directorate of Boiler of State/Central Govt. 
• 03 years experience in the field of oil-fired boiler operation, maintenance of boilers, steam lines and other related equipment using workshop fabrication facilities.
• Age: 18-32 years.
• Junior Lab Assistant on contract, 01 Post (ST), (Hearing impairment (PD) with moderate degree of deafness varying between 40% to 75%,
• Qualification & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent or 3 year’s duration Diploma in Computer Engineering or equivalent. Knowledge of computer applications. 
• Age: 18-32 years plus 10 years age relaxation for Physically Disabilities candidates as per Govt. of India rules.
