North Eastern Regional Institute Of Science & Technology Hires PG candidates in 2011, Arunachal Pradesh
The Director, NERIST hereby invites applications from the citizens of India for the posts of Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Registrar, Deputy Registrar, Assistant Registrar, Medical Officer, Asstt. Workshop Supdt. and Executive Engineer. The pay bands carry other allowances admissible as per Government of India rules
Registrar – 1
Qualification:
Master’s Degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of ‘B’ in the UGC 7 point scale;
Experience:
(i) at least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor in the AGP of Rs.7000/- and above or with 8 years’ of service in the AGP of Rs.8000/- and above including as Associate Professor along with experience in educational administration; OR
(ii) comparable experience in research establishment and/or other Institutions of higher education; OR
(iii) 15 years of administrative experience, of which 8 years shall be as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post.
Pay Bands : PB-4; Rs.37400-67000/- AGP Rs.10000/-
Qualification:

Minimum one year experience at the level of Group-B Officer in the field of administration, establishment, finance, Store & Purchase and academic offices in a Govt./Semi Govt. / University. Preference shall be given to higher experience holders.

Assistant Professor
Qualification:
Master’s with 1st class or equivalent or B.Tech first class with Ph.D. in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout. For Science and Humanities Group, NET/SLET/SET shall remain the minimum eligibility condition. However, candidates, who have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the UGC Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET.

Qualification:
