Applications are invited for filling up the following posts:
Director
Pay Scale: Pay Band of Rs.37,400-67,000 with Grade Pay of Rs.10,000 (pre-revised scale of Rs.18,400-22,400/-).
Qualification:
Essential:
(i) A Master’s Degree in Geography of a recognised University/Institution or equivalent.
(ii) 15 years experience of teaching and/or research in Geography and allied fields or in a supervisory technical position in a Cartographic Organisation.
Desirable:
(i) Doctorate in Geography.
(ii) Membership of national and international Geographical Societies.
Age Limit: The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall be not exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.
