Applications are invited for filling up the following posts:-

Hindi Officer

Scale of Pay: PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 with Grade Pay Rs.5400/-
Places of Vacancies:
Doordarshan Kendra,Chennai,Jaipur,Jalandhar,Nagpur,Bangalore,Srinagar.
Eligibility:
(a) The posts are to be filled by transfer on deputation from officers of the Central Govt./State Government/Union Territories;
(i) holding analogous posts on regular basis OR
(ii) with three years regular service in posts in the pre-revised scale of pay of Rs.5500-175-9000/- (revised scale of pay Rs.9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs.4600) or equivalent or
(iii) With eight years regular service in posts in the scale of pay of Rs.4500-125-7000 or Rs.5000-150-8000/- (revised scale of pay Rs.9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs.4200/-) or equivalent and
(b) Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience:-
(i) Master’s degree of a recognised university or equivalent in Hindi with English as a subject at degree level.
Desirable:
(i) Knowledge of Sanskrit or a Modern Indian Language (other than Hindi).
(ii) Administrative Experience.
(iii) Experience of organising Hindi classes or workshops relating to noting and drafting.
Period of deputation:
Two years in the first instance.
